How to get an Annulment in Idaho

Having a marriage annulled means the court orders that the marriage never legally existed. The State of Idaho can only grant an annulment under a limited number of circumstances. In order to apply for an annulment you need to file a petition with the court in the county where you live, and you must prove that the grounds on which you are filing for an annulment are legally appropriate.

The grounds for annulment are listed in Idaho Code Section 32-501. In order to successfully have your marriage annulled, one of these causes must have existing at the time of the marriage:

When you are arrested for a DUI offense your actual driver’s license is taken by the police officer that arrests you (exception: you're pulled over in a state other than the one that your drivers license is actually issued in) and you are given a temporary paper drivers license.
